PEER GROUP EXPERIENCE

Learning from your peers is a great way to advance your leadership and management skills...and most importantly to increase shareholder value.

Exchange the frustration of doing the same thing over and over again and getting the same result for solutions, experience and support from your peers.

Value Proposition: HBEkc facilitates this learning process by assembling the peer group, arranging for the facility and the content expertise, facilitating the discussion and ensuring that the learning translates to an increase in shareholder value.

Are you ambitious…do you have aspirations of substantial growth in your business…do you keep applying the same solutions to problems and getting the same less that desirable result…do you have a unquenched thirst to learn new solutions to old problems…do you often wish you could discuss issues in a confidential manner with other Business Owners and CEOs to get their input before you submit proposals to your shareholders, board or key employees?

The responsibilities of the Business Owner/chief executive officer are made more difficult due to a void in peer group interaction. The peer group experience provides a sanctuary for candid discussion on business interests and allow Business Owners/CEOs to obtain counsel and support regarding specific issues and problems from those who share similar challenges.

In his book “Think and Grow Rich” Napoleon Hill wrote:

“When two or more people harmonize their minds and produce the effect known as a “Master Mind,” each person in the group becomes vested with … knowledge through the … minds of the other members of the group.”
And,
“Knowledge, alone is not power. Great personal power is acquired only through the harmonious cooperation of a number of people who concentrate their efforts upon some definite plan.”

We seek to create that invaluable peer group experience for chief executive officers in the Kansas City area with the following common characteristics:

Business Owner, Chief Executive Officer or equivalent leadership position.

Annual revenues of $50 million to $300 million and $10 to $50 million.

Unrelated and non-competing businesses.

Service or Manufacturing.

The peer groups will meet one day each month as a group and 2-3 hours for a one on one coaching session. To enrich the experience we are collaborating with Baker University. Baker as an excellent educational institution will provide the facility and access to their academic staff for content expertise.
